Quick Update: 9/12, Halion Down

Just because I haven't posted anything for awhile, here's a pic from when we killed Heroic LDW Tuesday night:



That leaves only Professor Putricide, Sindragosa, and LK standing for Heroic Mode ICC. We also went and took down Halion after Blizzard graced us with the presence of our server post-36 hours of downtime.

Raids have been going quite smooth lately, particularly because of the change from Thursday to Wednesday nights. I'd like to thank everyone who's stuck with us for the past few months as we tackled both the hardest content in the game (undergeared for it) and rebuildiing a top-notch raiding guild. As we go into the expansion, we are as strong as ever, and raiding on the other side should be an absolute blast.

Heroic Progression and Recruiting Update

So we got Dreamwalker Hard Mode down last night after a couple nights' worth of work. This puts us at 7/12 in Heroic ICC.

Next week we'll be focusing on Heroic Saurfang.

In other news, we've been getting questions about DPS recruitment needs. The only real "Need" spots right now are Hunter and DK, and beyond that we are simply looking for strong DPS.

You can see our current performances by clicking the "Raid Reports" link on the left hand side of this page. Please note that we will most likely not accept any transfer applications without a dps report attached.

We are also on the lookout for a Resto Shaman.

Whooooa, we're half way there...

Though we skimped on screenshots, after our first week of working on hard modes, CD is now 6/12! Great work, folks! Bosses that fell to our Bon-Jovi-fueled engine of vengeance and destruction:

• Alliance Gunship


• Festergut


• Rotface


• Blood Prince Council


• Blood Queen Lana'thel

The next boss due for a shot to the heart (with CD to blame) is Saurfang while we lay Dreamwalker down on a bed of roses. Keep a look out!

"I want to kill Lich King with CD."

That was what the most common phrase was around the website for months. Every day, people checked in on the website. Sometimes they updated their status, sometimes they posted some pics of what they were doing in real life, sometimes they just lurked.

Then, like an avalanche, a thread was started and grew to pages in a matter of days. As a testament of the synergy and friendship this guild has created, people came back in droves. Some of them dropped what they were doing immediately. Some of them reactivated their accounts. Some of them never even left in the first place.

Meanwhile, we have recruited new friends. While our same rigorous standards are still applied to a player's skill and attitude, it seems this time around we're attracting as quality people as ever. The new people jumped on board and immediately started pitching in. Without them, this kill wouldn't have been possible.

Thus, I present the kill shot of Lich King, as a token of gratitude from the old CD members to the new ones: Thank you. Thank you for joining us to keep our guild running and full of good people and great friends, and may you find as much pleasure in being part of our organization as the rest of us have for years.
