After a lot of dedication and hard work, Computus Demum is now 4/4 in TK and 6/6 in SSC. Not bad for a casual guild, no?

So we finally stopped being lazy and went in and one-shotted Zul'jin tonight. Grats to me on the tanking chest that I shouldn't ever have to use.



Onwards to Kael for the rest of the week, which should be a lot smoother now that there's no Superbowl and instance server issues to stand in our way. We hope.

DW Still Stands for Dual-Wield

Wanting to go get our Vashj kill for the week and then start working on Kael'thas, we were delighted to find out the the raid instance servers were down.

"Well," we thought, "we haven't killed Doomwalker."

So we fly over in front of BT, I give a quick rundown of the strategy, and we engage. First attempt, we get him to 9%. Good deal.

Wait.

Wait.

Wait.

Wait.

Second attempt, after waiting FIFTEEN F***ING MINUTES, Wait Listed drops me a line and helps us DPS:



Now, normally we'd be all worried, "oh, we didn't get that boss kill alone, so it doesn't count." (Then again, normally we'd think, "hey, a new boss kill! New loot!") However when he dropped COMPLETE GARBAGE, we figured we probably wouldn't bother going to get this kill again. GG Blizz.

By the way, if you're wondering why this story is so much longer than most of the other ones, it's because while I write it, the servers are still down. WTB raid instance servers with rolling restarts, PST.

CD Rides Again

With the first official raid of the new year scheduled for the second, a few of us were sitting around Tuesday night and bored.

So I says to myself, "Self, you've just gotten done doing the ridiculously long Onyxia attunement quest for no real reason. Sure, you've got Foror's Compendium of Dragon Slaying sitting in your bank, but how do you know you actually can kill Onyxia?"

So we rallied up the troops, including an obligatory healer and some noob tanks, and went back to the old school:



But then, to our horror, we saw....

LEFT SIDE.... MANY WHELPS!



Fortunately, we were able to handle it. This led us to get a screenshot that should be the end result of every end-of-instance boss kill, the head-on-a-spike shot:



Blizzard, I emplore you... MORE COOL HEADS ON SPIKES.

At any rate, yes, we're back. The first order of business is to go after Vashj. Since we don't get to put her head on a spike, look for a kill shot coming soon.
